Kirby: Triple Deluxe was originally released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2014. It is an enhanced port and HD remaster of Kirby: Triple Deluxe that was released for the Nintendo 3DS back in 2014. "Familiar friends and foes like Bandana Waddle Dee and King Dedede also make an appearance as playable characters in the Kirby Fighters 2 game, available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch system." Kirby: Triple Deluxe Ultra is an upcoming game for the Nintendo Switch. "Choose from a cast of Kirby's most iconic copy abilities - including the brand-new Wrestler ability - and duke it out to be the last Kirby standing," Nintendo's description reads. Kirby Fighters 2 looks like it will also be a download-only title, with a $20 price point to match. The original Kirby Fighters - a last Kirby standing fighting spin-off - first appeared as part of 3DS compilation Kirby Triple Deluxe, before being re-released with extra bits and pieces as a separate 3DS eShop download. It was released in Japan on January 11th, 2014, in South Korea on April 17, 2014, in North America on May 2, 2014, in Europe on May 16, 2014, and in Australia on May 17, 2014. UPDATE 24/9/20: Following yesterday's listing, Nintendo has now released Kirby Fighters 2 on the Switch eShop, priced £17.99.Īlongside local and online brawler battles, there's a campaign mode where you can play with a friend or AI ally.ġ7 copy abilities and characters are included, including the returning Meta Knight and King Dedede.
